Open Relationship Coaching: Non-Monogamy, From Lived Experience
For couples thinking about opening up, couples already open and finding it hard, and individuals navigating non-monogamy. Coaching that respects both partners.
What does an open relationship coach do?
An open relationship coach helps partners talk honestly about non-monogamy, whether they are considering opening a relationship or already living it. Coaching covers conversations, agreements, jealousy and communication, and it does not push anyone toward or away from opening.
Why support matters.
Relationships take work, and no playbook for curating the ideal relationship fits every relationship. In my experience navigating several types of relationships, I have found there to be a lack of exemplary role models when exploring consensual non-monogamy or open partnership dynamics (i.e., Consensual Non-Monogamy).
While there are no right or wrong ways when navigating relationships, there are ways that can help make the experience less painful and more communicative.
Who this is for
One partner wants to open the relationship and the other is unsure.
You are already open and jealousy, rules or time keep causing conflict.
You are new to consensual non-monogamy and want honest guidance.
Your attachment styles clash and it shows up when other people are involved.
I don't coach you toward opening, or away from it
My job is not to convince either of you. It is to help you each say what is true, hear your partner, and make agreements you can both keep. Staying monogamous is as valid an outcome as opening.
Why I do this work
Starting the conversation: how to talk to your partner about opening the relationship.
Agreements: rules and boundaries couples should discuss, and how to revisit them.
Jealousy: understanding it and handling it without blame.
Communication: staying honest and kind under pressure.
Attachment: what your styles bring up and how to work with them.
I have 12+ years experience coaching individuals &partnerships in navigating a multitude of open-relating and consensual non-monogamous dynamics.
Most importantly, I have been practicing non-monogamy for 12+ years in my personal life, giving you real and raw access to the lessons and education gained from experience.
Why lived experience matters.
